What we do

Pooja Sevak is a Hindi-first platform for booking verified pandits. You can invite a pandit ji to perform a puja at your home, wherever in India a verified pandit serves your area — or book a live online puja and join by video with your family from anywhere.

For every puja we explain what it means, how long it takes and the samagri it usually needs, and each pandit shows their own dakshina up front. Alongside bookings, we keep a daily panchang and Smaran — gentle reminders for the sacred days you keep and the punyatithi of loved ones you remember.

How it works

  1. Choose your puja and panditRead about the ritual, then pick a verified pandit who serves your address — or one who performs it online. Their dakshina, languages and reviews are shown before you book.
  2. Share your sankalp and payPick a date and time, add your family’s names and gotra for the sankalp, and pay securely online through Razorpay. Your booking is confirmed as soon as payment succeeds.
  3. Pandit ji comes, or you join onlineFor a home puja, pandit ji comes to your address at the muhurat. For an online puja, a private video link appears on your booking shortly before the puja begins.
  4. Stay connected to the calendarAfter the puja you can leave a review. Keep the panchang handy and let Smaran remind you of ekadashi, purnima, shraddh and other days that matter to your family.

How we verify pandits

A pandit is shown to devotees only after verification. Each pandit ji signs up with a verified email and mobile number, completes identity verification (KYC) with their Aadhaar details — of which we keep only the last 4 digits — and sets up a profile with the pujas they perform, their dakshina, working hours and the area they travel to.

Our team reviews pandit profiles and can withdraw verification at any time, for example after a complaint. Devotees can review a pandit only after a completed puja, so the ratings you see come from real bookings.

Verification tells you who a pandit is; it is not a judgement of their scholarship or tradition. Read their profile and reviews, and speak with them about how they perform the ritual.

What we value

  • Shraddha first. A puja is an act of faith, not a transaction. We want every ritual to feel complete and unhurried.
  • Clear dakshina. You see the pandit’s dakshina, and any platform fee, before you pay. Nothing is hidden. If a paid booking is cancelled before the puja is complete, you get a full refund.
  • Respect for every tradition. Customs differ by region and family. Pandits perform rituals as per their own parampara, and you can tell them about your family’s ways.
  • Your family’s privacy. Names, gotra and remembrances are shared only with the pandit performing your puja. We don’t sell your data. Read our Privacy Policy.
